FRANKLINs

Thomas H. Franklin (1732-1797)
Rezon H. Franklin (1779-1861)
Rachael P. Franklin (1803-)
Belinda P. Franklin (c1825-1902)

I do not know much about the Franklin family.  I did however find a brief family history on the Franklins in the Historical Society of Carroll County that suggested they were distantly related to Benjamin Franklin.  I have yet to find data to support that claim.

Belinda Pearce Franklin (595) and David Bloom (594) were granted license to marry on 6 Dec 1853 at Carroll, Maryland, USA. She married David Bloom (594), son of Jacob Bloom (1692) and Mary (--?--) (2890), in Dec 1853. She died on 8 Jan 1902. She was buried at Stone Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery, Carroll, Maryland, USA.

Children of Belinda Pearce Franklin and David Bloom were as follows:

  1. Mary E. Bloom (5026) was born circa 1855 at Maryland, USA. She married William Smith (5034).
  2. Isaac R. Bloom (5027) was born in Apr 1857 at Maryland, USA. He married Ellen N. (--?--) (14996) circa 1877.
  3. Ida Rachel Bloom (130) was born in Aug 1857 at Carroll County, Maryland, USA. She and John Thomas Bailey (129), son of Jacob Bailey (600) and Barbara Ann Tracey (601), were married by J. F. Ockerman on 5 Nov 1891 at Baltimore County, Maryland, USA.
  4. Margaret M. Bloom (5028) was born in Apr 1860 at Maryland, USA.
  5. Jennie Bloom (5029) was born circa 1862 at Maryland, USA. She married Frank Most (5035). She married (--?--) Martin (9922).
  6. Thomas G. Bloom (5031) was born in 1863 at Baltimore County, Maryland, USA. He married Emma E. Plowman (5032), daughter of Margaret (--?--) (14897), in 1896.
  7. Edith Bloom (5030) was born between 1865 and 1867 at Maryland, USA. She married (--?--) Harrington (9921).
